A group of hackers who call themselves Xbox Underground have pleaded guilty to conspiracy charges in a Delaware court today, following an investigation by the FBI which dates back to January 2011.

The Wichita Eagle reports that members of the group stole what amounted to more than $100 million in intellectual property and data from Microsoft, Zombie Studios and others. Some of the stolen information include data related to Xbox One, Xbox Live and games such as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Gears of Wars 3, according to prosecutors.

Some of what they had access to was sensitive Xbox One console data, before the console’s official release, that would’ve allowed them to manufacture and sell counterfeit consoles.

Two of the hackers, David Pokora and Sanadodeh Nesheiwat pleaded guilty to the conspiracy charges, while Nathan Leroux, Austin Alcala and another unnamed Australian, had charges filed against them.

Thanks, Polygon.
